The NAACP Arkansas State Conference invites community leaders, advocates, service providers, policymakers, faith leaders, and concerned citizens to participate in our Pre-Convention Summit on Housing & Food Insecurity on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 1:30–4:00 p.m. at the Wyndham Grand Executive Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Under the theme “From Crisis to Stability: Building Stronger Communities,” this important summit will bring stakeholders together to examine the growing challenges of housing instability, homelessness, hunger, and food insecurity affecting families and communities throughout Arkansas.

The summit will move beyond identifying the problems to discussing practical solutions, available resources, community partnerships, policy strategies, and opportunities for collective action. Participants will hear perspectives from those working on the front lines and explore how organizations and communities can work together to help individuals and families move from crisis toward long-term stability.
